The AHA’s Healthcare BLS Course provides the foundation for saving lives from cardiac arrest. It teaches both single-rescuer and 2 rescuer team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on high-quality CPR, AED, Ambu Bag and team dynamics.
 

Heartsaver courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.

These courses can be delivered in a classroom setting or through blended learning, where the student completes an eLearning course and then attends a skills practice and testing session with an AHA Instructor.

The Heartsaver Adult or Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Course is designed to meet the regulatory requirements for child care workers in all 50 U.S. states. It teaches child care providers and others to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.

The course covers Child/Infant CPR, AED, Choking, and Pediatric First Aid. Adult modules in CPR, AED and choking are optional.

The modular classroom-based course is designed to be flexible. Within the Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Course we cover all topics in the CPR AED course along with First Aid topics of Medical, Injury and Environmental Emergencies as it regards to children.

The AHA’s Family & Friends® CPR Course a video-based, classroom course intended for anyone who wants to learn CPR and prefers to learn in an Instructor-led or facilitated group environment. This course is for people who do not need a course completion card for a job or other requirements. Family & Friends CPR is ideal for community groups, parents, grandparents, caregivers, schools and students, and others interested in learning how to save a life.
